call me him.
by River Braun
call me him. is a story that explores the life of a transgender teen growing up in a time and place where the term "transgender" wasn't mainstream. It highlights the struggle gender non-conforming individuals go through when faced with a family and society that wants nothing more than to maintain the status quo.
The book also explores what it means to be an ally and a friend, and all of the messiness that goes along with being a teenager at a time when society itself is experiencing growing pains.
